"Ms. Christy's excelent and fabulous cool and chill class ever!"

Dear Ms. Christy,

I love your class. I thimk it is very cool because you always have something to do in class. I think that you dont have nothing to improve. This class is very fun and cool. I think that people are very nice and respectfull. I wish you could be my teacher in 7th grade. Every day is the same rutine until academic elective because in that moment I think that finally something cool. Ms Christy you are a very responsible and respectfull teacher I really dont think there is something to improove!

"Summer Vacation!"

I have many plans for my summer vacations, but I dont know what I am going to do. I dont know if going somewhere. If I dont go to Barranquilla I would go to a summer camp called Guacamayitos in Hilton Hotel. It is very cool because you do a lot of cool things and they take you to a lot of places. I am going to be with my friends Estefania, Arlette, Maria Paula and maybe one that is called Juliana. I like to go to summer camps because there I meet many friends and new people. I love to go to places where you do a lot of cool activities and meet new friends because it is a way of having more invitations and relationships. There you go to the beach, the pool, and maybe the last day you may get to sleep and make necklaces and bracelets.

You may want to go to beaches and pools so you can get in the sun and if you live in a cold place change of climate. Or fancy places as Disney or Europe. In Europe everything is very expensive and you may want to go to cheaper stores and there you mioght find one or two cheap places.

6th grade

In my sixth grade many things have changed since 5th grade. Almost evry things are the same classes and recess. I made new friends because they came from thje United States. One is called Mia and came from Miami. The other one is named Cody and he came from Virginia. I lost a friend too she went to Africa because his father had a new job there. She was very creative. I had three homeroom teachers, it was something very rare because teh first one was very strict but she was a very good teacher. She explain very good, and gave us many opportunities by giving us many homework. She needed to go home bacause she was going to have a baby. In replace of her we had a teacher called Jackson. Really I didnt understand his way of teaching, he talk very fast and really I didnt understand WHAT he said on class, that is the reason I like better woman teachers. Is like what people say womens cant drive a car very good but men cant teach very good. My third teacher is very cool she is very nice and teaches super cool. She gives us alot of presents and candies. As I said you before the new kid called Cody is her son. I had improoved my grades a lot with her. I prpose many goals. Now in this year we had invented many new words is more like a custom in my school. Before in 5th grade it was always the same groups who went out to eat or watch a movie, now everybody is together and everybody is accepted the way they are. We invent even nicknames and caring ways of saying. Now my attitude is more mature and I have different ways of thinking and seeing things. I have many competitive friends in my class that like a game we wnat to know who has the best grades. Bye and kisses....................LOVE THE LIFE!

"Candies"

I really like candies, I think that I could survive with every kind of candy. But it is not posible. I like every candy because each one has a different flavor and combination. I dont like chocolate with nuts or white chocolate. The kind of bubblegum I most like is sweet flavor, I really dont like mint it gives you a good breathe but the flavor is soured. I like nutella because it has like a chocolate flavor and with another kind of flavor.

Im going to describe you each of the candies I like. First I like the ring pop, it has a very cool flavor and turns your mouth of one color. It has a lot of chemicals but I still love it. It has like a fun flavor and it is very sweet. The ringpop is colorfull and maybe it may have just one color, it is rounded and normal size. It may be blue, red, yellow, or green colors. There are many kinds of it.

After the ringpop I like the bubblegum because it has a relaxing flavor. There are many uses for animals and people, they give it to animals to relax them. There are many marks, like agogo, bubbaloo, and super hiper acido. They havce many flavors. There are acids, sweets and mints one. They have many colors and some turn your mouth green, yellow, blue, purple, orange, pink etc.

"My Favorite things"

Today Im going to talk you about my favorite things. My favorite candy is chocolate. There are many kinds of it, but the one I most like is hershey's kisses. It is delicious. The chocolate helps me in moments of sadness, because it has like a happy flavor it is delicious. I like a lot the kisses, because they are delicious!!

My favorite movie is called shes the man. It is a movie protagonized by Amanda Bynes. It tells a very funny story about a girl who's passion is soccer. His brother was going into the university and in there was a soccer team, but what she really wanted to prove was that girls could do the same as boys. His brother's passion was music, and days before he had been asked to play in a band. So he went away and asked her sister to replace him. Im not telling you more because then it wont result cool when you see it, I recomend it!

My favorite sport is tennis. I love it because it has a lot of suspense when you are going to recieve the ball everybody gives you luck and they get very silent. Tennis consists in hitting a ball with a racket. First you serve, then you throw the ball and you wait until the rival gets the ball. Then he returns it to you and you give it back. There can be many sets and if you win most of them you win!!

When I dont have nothing to do I paint dresses, or shirts. When I am looking at the tv and my mom tells me "Nicole, turn of the tv that is not turning you intelligent" I start to paint in a notebook clothes. I really like to do it because I may have a lot of jobswhen I am grown up.

My favorite kind of friends are the honest ones. I hate when friends are not honest to me. I dont like when my friends take my things withoutr asking and taking making desorders in my room or house. I like the friends that help me when I am sad, same as when one of my friends is sad, when we are happy we celebratee!!!

"Homework"

Today I read an article about a 14 years old girl called Helen Zhang. She lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She wrote on the article about home work. She says that kids like hanging around with friends, going into extracurricular activities and go into clubs. She says that kids pass it really good playing every day. But everything cant be perfect. When they get to highschool they are going to be full of homework, and they dont have time to do anything. Teachers can put a lot of homework, this is good for practice, but to much homework can bring negative effects. One of the bad effects is that it takes teenagers time, and they dont have time for themselves, like for hobbies or extracurricular activities. Helen told us that her favorite hobby is collecting stamps. She needed to let what she most likes to do just because of homework. Some people need to let their hobbies and even ones that help them learn.

Teens may not even have time for their families. With all the homework they receive in high school they might not have family time. She is very concerned about the family and she thinks that people as parents might be concerned to. Homework can also give you stress. Stress is bad for peoples health. In her opinion the way of combating stress is relaxing. Teachers put homeworks on vacations because they are afraid that students forget what they have learned with the time. Some students stay very late at night to finish homework. If you are sleepy at school it means you didnt sleep well at night. Sleeping good is important because then you might slewep in class and dont listen to the important things the teachers anounce such as a test or exam and homeworks.

One day that I was in the house of a friend she invited me to a friends birthday party. It was of customs or Halloween. When we got to the party we didnt saw anybody but everything was very prepared. When we saw our friend we asked if we were in the wrong our. She told us that everybody called her and gave her the excuse that they had many homework and couldnt come; she was crying. So we went and made our homework.

"Does the Internet Bring us Closer or Drive Us Apart?"

I had just read an article about a sixteen years old girl named Ashley Dihn and her opinions about the internet. She told us that before what keep us from being bored we used messenger, yahoo and AIM. This girl says that now people prefere talking by computer rather by the phone. She says people stay on the computer all the day instead of going to take a walk outside, and make excersice. Some people talk better by the internet than by mouth, because they are acostumed to be in the internet all the time. I think the internet affects the lifes of the people because they have less friends, maybe in school they are very friendly but they dont have friends from other cities because they will need to look for people on myspace or facebook. I think that the internet dont teaches nothing because it gives you all the answers for your questions as when you see a strange thing, is the same as the television. This girl says that people have the desire of meeting new people, but instead they just post photos on a place were people can see them and look for them. Now people prefere to meet people by internet instead of aye by eye.

My opinions about what this girl said are that she is completely correct. Sometimes when I dont have nothing to do the first thing that comes to my mind is to go into facebook or play games in http://www.addictinggames.com/. Now people prefer to play than to study for a test. People prefer to use internet instead of books. My conclusion is not to stop using the internet instead to use it but not everyday. Parent Teacher Conferences

This quarter was excellent compared to the last one. This time I got very good grades, so my mom and my dad are going to be very proud of me. My teachers have told me my grades and I think they are very high. I have almost all my grades 80% and up. I think I got better grades because the teachers are more understanding on this quarter. I think I need to improove some that I think they are easy so I think its fair to have the easy subjects up of 90%. My plan to improove is to pay more attention in class and try to get better grades in exams, quizzes or tests. I make a plan to improove because the consecuences for bad grades that my parents give me are very hard, for example if I get like a b' they will punish me for two weeks and I really dont like to be bored for two weeks studying and studying. For rewards my parents make me very happy when I get very high grades, for example they take me to eat to restaurants and they give me presents and they make whatever I tell them unless its a bad thing, that is why I love getting very good grades.

"My Favorite Websites"

Hi again. Today I am going to talk you about my favorite websites! My favorite favorite is facebook(www.facebook.com). On facebook I can see pictures, play games, talk with friends, add apliccations and send messages to my friends. Something else you can do in face book is look at your friends profile and update videos or music and add stickers or sticky notes to friends or family members, you can see to how people is feeling on days. On facebook you can paint grafittis to people and do your signature, or write on their note book paper. Another web site that I really like is you tube
(www.youtube.com). In you tube I can hear music and watch funny videos. Sometimes you tube helps you on home works, for example when you have a home work about a movie you can see a video about it on you tube. In youtube you can see the new music and update songs. I like another website called www.addictinggames.com there are many cool games and activities.

Middle School life

Being on middle school is really cool. We have a lot of fun activities, it is better than in elementary. In middle school we have a group called stuco that means Student Council and they perform cool activities such as Surfer Day and rockstar/hip hop day. One example of why I say that middle school is more cool than elementary is because the flag ceremonies are more fun and everybody performs a play or whatever they had practiced. One bad thing about middle school is that the quizzes and the homeworks are much more difficult. After all this we can say that middle school is much more serious than elementary and for exmple when you get late to school in elementary you have like five opportinities and in middle school you just have two and then you will get a detention or a suspention. On middle school you have a lot more responsibilities than in elementary. A cool thing that we did on 6 th grade was going to the convivencias. There we made a lot of activities and it was delicious.

Colegio Jorge Washington-My School

Hi again!! Today I am going to talk you about my school. The name of my school is Jorge Washington. My school is located in Cartagena, Colombia. My school is in front of the beach it is very pretty. In my school there are 12 grades. I am in 6th grade right now. My school is very pretty. Right now in my school there are aproximately 600 students. My school has a soccer field, a bolleyball, and a basketball field, but they are a little bit little. My school is not so big. We are going to move to a place called zona norte. There the school is going to be bigger and more complex. It is going to have more space and the classes are going to be bigger. The sports fields are going to be a lot bigger and it is going to have a pool for swimming classes; The classes that we have in middle school right now are spanish, english, Us history, religion, ethics, math, science, drama, social of Colombia, and PE. My school has something called stuco. Stuco organizes parties and custom days. On my school there is one cafeteria with two lines that have a lot of food, going back to the lines of the cafeteria we need more lines because there are like 150 npeople that want to buy on 15 minutes with two lines. On my school we have two recess were we can eat or play any sport. The colors of the shirt of my schools uniform is white with the skirt blue. The bad thing about the dress code is that we need to wear large socks and we need to have our shirt in all the time. On my school there is an AV room. There is a library and a computers room, there is a nursery to, and a laboratory, and a supplies room, and a bathroom per floor. There is a bathroom for the little kids. My school has four floors. My name is Nicole Schuster. I am 12 years old. I have four brothers, two twins and other two twins. My hobbies are to play tennis, to be with my friends, and to go to the pool or beach. I have two cats and one dog. I like to paint and I like a lot fashion. I like to dance and to go to my friends parties. What I most like doing on Fridays after school is to do a sleepover with my Friends. I like to be with my family and I like to go to eat lunch with them. My favorite teacher was named Ms. Sophie, she was my fourth grade teacher. She was really nice with her students. I remember that one time I went to Panama on the year 2006 I saw her on the same hotel. I have go to Panama, Paris, Europe and a lot of places more.
